Purpose
Post-milking teat disinfection — the single most effective mastitis control practice available. Kills bacteria on the teat skin while the teat canal is still open after milking, and the emollient system keeps teat skin soft and intact, because cracked teat skin is itself a bacterial reservoir. Supplied as a concentrate for dilution to working strength.
Composition
Iodine complex (PVP iodine / iodophor) as the active, with glycerin and sorbitol as emollients, a non-ionic surfactant and citric acid, made up with water.
